UKTV Play rebrands as digital-first
In brief

UKTV has fully rebranded its streaming service UKTV Play to ensure it is seen as “modern, compelling and digital-first” in an “increasingly competitive” streaming landscape.

The rebrand precedes the introduction of HD content to UKTV Play from November which will allow viewers to view programmes such as Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, Bangers and Cash, MasterChef Australia and Big Zuu’s Big Eats in full HD quality for the first time.

The free video on-demand TV service can be accessed via the UKTV Play app on a computer, tablet or smart phone as well as via Freeview Play, Amazon Fire TV, YouView, Samsung TV, Apple TV, Freesat, NOW and Roku.

UKTV Play currently has six million registered users and thousands of hours of content from UKTV’s free-to-air channels Dave, W, Yesterday and Drama.
