UKTV has promoted Nick Gilmer to marketing director.
For the past eight months Gilmer jointly acted as interim marketing director with Kate Rossiter, head of marketing for streaming service UKTV Play, and together they led brand refreshes for Dave and W.
Gilmer joined the company in 2021 as head of marketing for both of these channels.
Rossiter did not apply for the director role as she “wants to focus on the next stage of video-on-demand strategy and transformation in the business”.
Gilmer will report in to UKTV’s chief marketing officer Penny Brough and be responsible for the strategic leadership of the UKTV’s marketing team, working across its linear broadcast network of seven channels, as well as its streaming service UKTV Play which recently rebranded as “digital-first”.
