Royal Mail touts ‘greenest’ creds in Sky TV campaign
In brief

Royal Mail has launched a campaign on Sky Media claiming it is “the UK’s greenest delivery company”.

This is based on reported carbon emissions per parcel by UK delivery companies that currently publicly report these statistics.

The Sky Zero Footprint Fund gifted £250,000 in media value to Royal Mail and four other companies last year.

Royal Mail’s TV spot launched yesterday and will run until 27 March across Sky Media channels and programming on linear and video-on-demand.

During production, Royal Mail reduced emissions by minimising travel within the M25, reducing large-scale art and post-production, and using Ad Green to calculate and monitor carbon output.
