Odeon Cinemas Group, Europe’s largest cinema operator, has launched a new series of pre-show idents which will be shown across its UK and Ireland cinemas.
British actor Taron Egerton will voice the four new idents which tie in with Odeon Cinema Group’s “We Make Movies Better” creative platform launched earlier this year.
Cinema admissions are still behind pre-pandemic levels, however several factors including half price tickets on National Cinema Day in September and big releases including Top Gun: Maverick have been enticing audiences back to the silver screen.
Creative for the campaign was by ad agency Elvis.
Nicole Burdett, group head of marketing and campaigns at Odeon Cinemas Group, said: “’Our challenge as a brand is to show why people should leave the comfort of their sofa to spend time with us instead. We believe there’s nothing quite like the incredible feeling of walking out of an Odeon cinema with the afterglow of being immersed in an amazing film.”
