Newsworks adds Leslie as agency and client relations director

Mel Leslie has joined Newsworks as agency and client relations director amid a number of additional hires at the news publisher marketing body.
Leslie, who previously worked at Channel 4 and Havas, will focus on strengthening relationships with media agencies and advertisers.
The appointment follows Newsworks’ hiring of Charlotte Tice in November in an interim role as knowledge programme director. She has been focused on developing an immersion programme targeted at media agency planners.
Before joining Newsworks, Tice most recently worked as senior director, media at VaynerMedia.
Newsworks has also recently appointed Coral Lamontange as media executive.
