Nawaz and Bennett named co-anchors of PBS NewsHour

PBS NewsHour chief correspondent Amna Nawaz and chief Washington correspondent and PBS News Weekend anchor Geoff Bennett have been named co-anchors of PBS NewsHour.

They replace Judy Woodruff, who has anchored the program solo since 2016, and will take the reins beginning January 2, 2023.

PBS NewsHour¬†is PBS’ flagship evening television program which is broadcast on more than 350 PBS member stations and member networks, making it available to 99% of the American viewing public. Audio from the program is broadcast by some National Public Radio (NPR) stations.
