MediaSense to ‘ramp up’ growth plans with NED hire

MediaSense has brought on board David Rigby, the former Capita executive and chairman of Brainlabs, as non-executive director to guide and support the media advisor’s growth plans under private equity.

Rigby has joined MediaSense as the business looks to accelerate its global expansion following Apiary Capital’s majority investment in the company was announced in August.

He was formerly executive director at Capita, international outsourcing giant, with responsibility for a portfolio of businesses, and has worked with the companies Forward3D, uSwitch.com and most recently, as non-executive chair at Brainlabs – an international digital marketing services agency that itself recently sold to private equity.

Graham Brown, MediaSense CEO and co-founder said: “David is a respected industry leader who has first-hand experience of the opportunities and challenges of managing and growing a demanding, service-based technology business. As MediaSense ramps up its growth plans, including global expansion, David’s experience and expertise will be an invaluable resource and I am delighted he has agreed to join us.”

Founded by Andy Pearch and Brown in April 2009, MediaSense specialises in operating models, pitch management, and analytics.
