Mark Runacus steps down as Outvertising CEO
In brief

After four years leading the UK advertising and marketing’s LGBTQIA+ advocacy group, Mark Runacus is stepping down as joint CEO.

Runacus was one of the founders of Outvertising in 2019 and has since led the group’s work on LGBTQIA+ inclusive awards, training, development, mentoring, and campaigning.

Most recently, Outvertising helped develop the All In Action Plan for LGBTQIA+ inclusion with the IPA and Advertising Association.

Marty Davies, co-director of advocacy and activism, will replace Runacus and work with Lucy McKillop as joint CEO.

Runacus told The Media Leader he would stay closely involved with the organisation.
