ITV licenses Paramount content for ITVX
In brief

ITV has signed a multi-year licensing deal with Paramount Global Content Distribution that will allow the broadcaster to include Paramount content on its soon-to-launch streaming service ITVX.

Popular Paramount-owned programmes will now be rolled out on ITVX throughout 2023, including Freaks and Geeks and From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series in January and Everybody Hates Chris and Jane the Virgin later in the Spring.

Audiences will be able to watch the shows for free across ITVX.

Paramount currently owns and operates Channel 5 in the UK, which it acquired in 2014 from Richard Desmond’s Northern & Shell group.
