IPG’s Reprise picks Dawson to build ecommerce offer

Reprise has appointed former PHD exec Heather Dawson as the IPG performance marketing agency builds a global commerce offering.

Dawson, who was head of ecommerce at Omnicom’s PHD, joins as senior vice-president global commerce strategy at Reprise Commerce, a business unit launched in 2020 dedicated to ecommerce within Reprise Digital.

Based in London, she is tasked with growing commerce services in the agency and leading commerce transformations for its clients.

Prior to PHD, where she oversaw the commerce function for Diageo, Dawson was ecommerce global partner at WPP’s Mindshare, where she was credited with transforming Unilever’s Amazon media capability. She spent 13 years at Mindshare working across client categories such automotive, B2B, electronics, and travel.

She said: “This shifting space is a really exciting part of the marketing sector, where clients are coming to Reprise for specialist expertise in the connection between media and sales.”
