IPA launches campaign to stop marketing budget cuts

The IPA has launched a print campaign to highlight the importance of maintaining adspend during a recession.

The campaign will appear across national and regional newsbrands this week targeting business leaders.

It refers to 40 years of research that shows cutting marketing budgets in the short-term is never as effective for long-term investment for businesses or the economy.

It has already appeared in Reach titles including The Mirror, Express (pictured, below) and Manchester Evening News yesterday.
