Disney mandates a return to the office four days a week
In brief

The Walt Disney Company will require all employees to report to work in-person four days a week beginning 1 March 2023.

Disney CEO Bob Iger made the announcement to staff in a memo obtained by The New York Times. He argued that working with colleagues in the office improves creativity and company culture.

It marks a further shift toward returning to the standard pre-pandemic work week. Disney previously required its employees to report to the office three days a week; other media and entertainment companies like NBCUniversal and Warner Bros Discovery currently use a three-day-a-week policy.
