DAZN becomes largest digital sports broadcaster in Europe

Sports streaming service DAZN reported it has added 75 rights to its platform over the last 12 months in its 2022 Annual Review.
These include global boxing rights and top-tier domestic football rights like UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga, and La Liga in select countries, as well as exclusive global broadcasting rights to the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
It also reported revenue of $2.3bn last year with the service live in 225 countries and territories with 15 million premium paying subscribers.
However, since its founding in 2016 the group has lost more than $6bn in order to pay for the aforementioned sports rights licenses.
