Clear Channel UK installs 100th ‘Bee Bus Stop’
A Living Roof in Brighton
In brief

Clear Channel UK has now installed 100 Living Roof bus shelters in cities across the nation, the outdoor media company has announced.

The company’s aim is to install 1,000 Living Roofs, or one in 30 bus shelters, nationwide.

Also known as ‘Bee Bus Stops’, the Living Roofs are meant to address the need for a healthy ecological network to exist across the UK amid a decline of flower-rich grasslands and insects.

Each Living Roof includes a carefully selected plant mix designed by ClearChannel UK in collaboration with the Wildlife Trusts to support native biodiversity and encourage bees and other pollinators.
