Clear Channel screens show nationwide high street photography exhibition

Clear Channel has partnered with Historic England and Photoworks to show a nationwide photography exhibition revealing “the stories behind the shopfronts” across its outdoor network.

As part of a year-long project there will be fortnightly photographic challenges on Instagram channel @PicturingHighStreets until October 2023, asking for public submissions to record the English High Street with a selection being chosen to enter the Historic England Archive.

This selection, along with others, making a total of 50 photographs (pictured, main image) will be chosen by designer and retail expert Wayne Hemingway, artist Camille Walala and Ben Hope, Clear Channel’s marketing director, to be shown across Clear Channel’s outdoor advertising spaces, outdoor exhibition panels and shop windows on high streets across England in spring 2023.
