Agenda21 poaches Total Media’s Duffy

Agenda21 has appointed James Duffy as its new head of paid media.

In his new role, Duffy will lead the media team and will be responsible for all paid media across the agency’s client portfolio.

His remit will include digital OOH, digital audio, display, programmatic trading and social media. In addition, he will also be responsible for leading the agency’s product innovation and developing relationships with key media owners, platforms and tech partners.

Duffy joins agenda21 from Total Media where he was head of digital and head of media futures. Prior to this, he was digital director at Havas Media.

“Digital moves so fast and has become so varied it is important that an agency has a clear vision to bring to bear the right technology, partners and strategies for their clients,” said Duffy.

“After meeting the team, I knew quickly that agenda21 have a vision that I want to be part of.”

Pete Robins, co-founder of agenda21 added: “We needed to find somebody that wanted to look forward, not just do and say the same as most of the market. Our clients are defined by that expectation of agenda21, so James was a natural fit for ours and their ambition.”
